Subhana Barzaghi
Subhana is a senior teacher in the Vipassana Insight tradition and leads regular retreats throughout Australia, New Zealand and India. She is the founder and guiding teacher of the Kuan Yin Meditation Centre in Lismore which is a dedicated non sectarian space for spiritual practice. In 1999 Subhana set up a Vipassana Insight group in Sydney called the Blue Gum Sangha which meets weekly on the north shore.

Patrick has over 30 years experience in Buddhist meditation, in both the Zen and Theravada traditions. Since 1984 he has trained in vipassana (insight) meditation in the lineage of Mahasi Sayadaw of Burma.

Anna Markey
Anna Markey was introduced to Buddhist practice in India in 1983. She took teachings from a variety of Tibetan teachers and attended retreats with insight teacher, Christopher Titmuss, the same year. She has been studying the Buddhadharma and practising insight meditation ever since.

Carol Perry

Carol has more than forty years meditation experience in the Insight tradition. She is a senior teacher with Melbourne Insight Meditation. In 1972 Carol co-founded a rural community called Dharmananda. She continues to live there with around twenty three people, working together to grow a wide range of organic foods and maintaining the land.

Lizzie Turnbull

Lizzie began practising in Tibetan Buddhism in 1985 and then the Zen and Insight traditions. Prior to her commitment to the Buddhist path she had developed an interest in Vedanta and Western philosophy which continues to inform her ongoing inquiry.
