Vipassana Insight Meditation
Louise is an Insight Meditation Dharma Teacher, midwife and jewellery artisan, with over 25 years experience in meditation and dharma practice.  Her principle teachers are Subhana Barzaghi and Patrick Kearney. She is also strongly influenced by the Burmese Mahasi lineage including the teachings of Sayadaw U Pandita and Sayadaw U Tajaniya. Other influences include Carol Perry, Ajahn Chah, Bhikkhu Analayo, Ajahn Amaro, Venerable Nagarjuna and Rob Burbea.

What inspires me about the dharma is its practical application of meditation and mindfulness that helps us navigate our tender, ever changing experience of being human. In this way mindfulness and the wisdom teachings become lifelong friends on the journey to clear seeing and freedom from suffering. 
My aim as a teacher is to support people to develop this practice for themselves and enjoy its cultivation of love and insight through residential retreats and ongoing guidance, for the benefit of all beings.

Louise has been teaching since 2019. She is the founding member of Radiant Mind Insight Meditation in Tasmania where she lives.
